1. Overview & Satisfaction Guarantee

DebtAegis offers a Satisfaction Guarantee grounded in the quality and acceptance of our documents. Due to the digital nature of our products and the manual labor involved in document formatting, our refund policy differs from physical goods.

  • 100% Money-Back Guarantee: We will issue a full refund if our software or team cannot generate a valid Answer document for your specific jurisdiction, or if your document is rejected by the court due to formatting errors caused by us.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

You are eligible for a full refund if:

  • Technical Failure: You experienced a system error that prevented the generation or delivery of your document.
  • Service Incompatibility: We determine after reviewing your intake form that we cannot assist with your specific case type or jurisdiction.
  • Court Rejection: Your document was rejected by the court specifically due to formatting or procedural errors attributed to DebtAegis (proof of rejection required).

3. Non-Refundable Situations (Important)

Once a service has been performed or digital files have been delivered, refunds are generally not available. This includes:

  • Draft Delivered: Once the PDF draft has been emailed to you or downloaded, the service is considered fully delivered.
  • Expert Review Started: For Plus and Premium plans, once a Legal Document Specialist has begun reviewing your file, that portion of the fee is non-refundable as labor costs have been incurred.
  • Change of Mind: We do not issue refunds if you settle with the debt collector, hire a lawyer, or decide not to proceed with the lawsuit after we have prepared your documents.
  • User Error: Errors resulting from incorrect information provided by you (e.g., wrong Case Number, misspelled Plaintiff name) are not grounds for a refund, though we are happy to help you correct them free of charge.

4. Third-Party Costs

  • Filing Fees: Court filing fees are paid directly to the court and are never handled or refunded by DebtAegis.
  • Affiliate Services: Payments made to third-party partners (e.g., Credit Repair, Debt Relief) are subject to those partners’ own policies.

5. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Email info@debtaegis.com with the subject line: “Refund Request – [Order ID]”.
  2. Include a brief description of the issue. If claiming a formatting error, please attach the rejection notice from the court.
  3. Our support team will review your request and respond within 1-2 business days.
  4. If approved, refunds are processed immediately but may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

6. Dispute & Chargeback Policy (Zero Tolerance)

Please contact us first. We are committed to resolving issues fairly.

  • If you initiate a dispute (chargeback) with PayPal or your bank before contacting our support, your account and all associated services will be permanently suspended.
  • We contest all invalid chargebacks by providing evidence of service delivery (IP logs, email timestamps, and completed document files) to the payment processor.
